Romans 11:13-36 // September 1st, 2024
Teaching overview
This week’s teaching was on Romans 11:13-36. In this text, Riley taught about Paul, and how he reminds the Gentiles that God is at war with our pride. As followers of Jesus, we cannot be prideful; instead, we must be grateful, for gratitude eradicates pride at its root. We must also be faithful, as faith is pride’s daily defeat. Finally, we must be worshipful, because worship brings us to a place where pride cannot exist.
Our prayer for your Community
Our prayer for our communities this week is that they would continue in the kindness of Jesus, remaining faithful to him in all things. As you gather this week, we pray that you would be filled with the spirit, pouring out the love of Jesus to each other.
