Daughters in the Word | Spring 2026
Study the word of God alongside other women.
Join us beginning Thursday March 19th for a rich and encouraging women’s Bible study as we journey through Scripture together.
There are 2 meeting times to fit your schedule, both meeting in the Coffee Shop:
About the Spring study
In Part 1: The Matriarchs, we will study the lives of Eve, Sarah, Leah, Rachel, and Tamar, discovering how God’s design for womanhood welcomes women from all walks of life. Through their stories, we’ll see God’s faithfulness, grace, and redemption at work—often through imperfect people and unexpected paths.
This study will inspire us to dig deeper into God’s Word, better understand his heart for women, and embrace our role in his incredible plan of redemption.
Cost: There is no fee for the study—just the cost of the book, which you can purchase here.
Note: When registering for morning session, please select the age range of your children and names so we can have the rooms staffed for specific age groups.
Any questions regarding registration? Reach out to bhritney@mountlake.church
Good Friday
Good Friday invites us to pause at the cross.
Through worship, reading of Scripture, and taking communion as a family, we will reflect on the atoning work of Jesus—his suffering, his love, and the cross that changes everything.
Age-appropriate activities will be provided for children through 3rd Grade.

Easter Sunday is Baptism Sunday!
Baptism (a word that means “immersion”) is a making a new allegiance, embracing a new identity, joining a new community, and immersing yourself in a new reality.

Easter at Mountlake Church
Is real hope possible?
Scripture does not offer naive optimism—it proclaims a living hope. A hope grounded in the resurrection of Jesus and alive through his present work among us.
This Easter, we invite you to the empty tomb to rediscover the source of true hope, and hear Christ’s invitation to place our trust in what cannot be shaken, lost, or undone.
We’ll start a new series called “Hope Has A Name,” in which we’ll dive into real questions about how to live out of real hope.
Activities for kids:
Easter is a day of celebration for the whole family. Our kids will participate in age-appropriate activities, crafts, and lessons that engage them creatively and spiritually.
Plus: There will be a rubber duck hunt with prizes, ice cream, and TONS of fun.
In addition, the whole family will enjoy:
Easter family photos
Free coffee and espresso
Joy-filled live music
Kool Kidz Ice Cream
What to expect:
When you park your car and walk through our doors, expect a warm greeting and friendly people to welcome you into our family.
Kids check in prior to the service, then join the adults in worship
Babies through 3 years old can stay in the Mountlake Kids wing
Worship singing starts at 9am and 11am, respectively
After worship, someone will pray, and we’ll dismiss our kids to their classes
Riley will teach the message for about 35 minutes
After the teaching, we will witness some people being baptized in water
We’ll end with one more song, then be dismissed to get our kids and hang out together
All in, the gathering lasts about 90 minutes.

Daughters In The Word: Fall Study
Daughters In The Word: Fall Study
Thursdays, October 9th – November 6th
7:00–8:30 PM | Coffee Shop
We will be studying Isaiah and the book Tethered Trust by Becky Harling. Order here on Amazon.
Everyone needs to purchase their own copy.
We will be digging into the names of Jesus found in the book of Isaiah:
For to us a child is born,
to us a son is given,
and the government will be on his shoulders.
And he will be called
Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
This will give us amazing insight into His character and provide a firm tether for when the trials of life unfold. That way, “we can rely on God and relax in His goodness.”
This beautiful passage will lead us right into the Christmas season.
All women are invited to come grow together in our faith and support each other in prayer and community.
